Radio Skyhop

Privacy Policy

Radio Skyhop is made by localfirst LLC. This policy covers the Radio Skyhop app and radioskyhop.com. Last updated: September 25, 2026.

Your listening library

No Radio Skyhop account is required. Favorites, lists, and preferences are stored on your device. The app does not request your location; browsing the globe does not use GPS.

iCloud sync

Skyhop Pro automatically syncs your favorites and lists through your private iCloud database when iCloud is available. Apple handles your iCloud account and storage. We do not receive your Apple Account credentials. Playback and sleep timers stay on your device.

Radio streams

Playback connects directly to the station's stream provider. That provider receives your IP address and the network information needed to deliver audio, and may operate under its own privacy policy. Broadcasts may contain advertising. We do not control station programming or stream availability.

Purchases

Apple processes Skyhop Pro purchases. The app checks Apple-signed transactions to unlock features. We do not receive your payment card details.

Optional app analytics

On first launch, Skyhop asks whether you agree to share a small set of usage data to improve the app. The sharing option starts on, but no usage events are collected until you confirm. You can turn it off before continuing or later in My settings → Usage analytics, without losing any features. If you agree, Skyhop sends listening milestones, Hop, favorite and list actions, playback failure categories, paywall views and verified purchase events to PostHog Cloud. Events include public station/place IDs, app and catalog versions, entitlement state, and a random installation identifier. We do not send list names, stream URLs, receipts, account details or precise location. We do not use analytics for advertising or link identities across apps. PostHog receives network request information, including your IP address; IP-based location enrichment is disabled. Turning analytics off stops new collection and clears queued events. Requests already sent may finish; previously received events are not deleted by the switch. For privacy or deletion questions, contact support@radioskyhop.com.

Diagnostics and support

The app keeps a limited diagnostic log on your device to help investigate playback problems. It is not automatically uploaded to us. If you choose to share diagnostics or contact support, we receive the information you send and use it to respond and troubleshoot. Please avoid sending passwords or payment information.

Website and shared links

Opening radioskyhop.com sends the usual request information, including your IP address, to our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to serve and protect the site. Shared station links contain a station identifier, not your listening library. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on the site.
